Generally, the 310 ss blind flange is used at a temperature range of up to 1150°C in continuous service application, and up to 1035°C in intermittent service. Grade 310S is a low carbon version of the alloy that can be produced by the ss 310 flange manufacturer. SS 310 flat flange contains about 25% chromium and 20% nickel, making them highly resistant against both oxidation and corrosion. The lower carbon version of ss 310 flanges is less prone to embrittlement and sensitisation in many applications. The high chromium and medium nickel content in the aisi 310 stainless steel flanges make these steels capable to be used in applications that involve reducing sulphur atmospheres containing hydrogen sulphide.

The material has 1402 degrees Celsius melting point which allows them to operate under high temperatures. The SS 310 Lap Joint Flange as well as other flanges in this grade hold similar strength to that of the 304 and 316 grades of flanges. The minimum yield strength is 205MPa and the minimum tensile strength of the 310 material is 515MPa. The A182 F310 Threaded Flange is meant for forged or rolled flanges that have threads on them to be joined to the pipes with male threads. The threaded flanges are useful when the welding or bolting methods are not preferable. ASTM A182 F310H Flanges is often used in cryogenic applications, due to their toughness and low magnetic permeability. Our Stainless Steel 310 Flanges are manufactured by forging components in a temperature range between 975 °C – 1175°C. Heavy work is carried out at 1050°C and a light finish can be applied to the alloy at the bottom of the range. After forging the alloy, annealing is recommended to be practised in order to relieve all stresses from the forging process.  Machining the 310 stainless steel flanges are similar to that of type 304.
