Nickel 200 Flanges are solid-solution hardened, high materials with good mechanical properties at a high range of temperatures. It has great resistance to several oxidations in particular hydroxides. Meanwhile, grade 201 nickel is a modification of nickel 200 to manage carbon. Its carbon content keeps it embrittle by intergranular precipitates in several methods. Nickel 200 Ring Joint Type Flanges has pitting and crevice corrosion resistance superior to other alloys and resistance to H2SO4 up to 65 %. Nickel 200 is offering the oxidation resistance in neutral, reducing the environmental and in corrosive conditions, it gives the formation of the oxide film. This oxide film is great for the material great resistance in the caustic atmosphere. Oxidation rates in both rural and marine conditions are very low. The nickel 200 resistance to oxidation by natural and pure waters is great.  Because the alloy displays good corrosion resistance, Nickel 200 Threaded Flanges has been used in food handling equipment, caustic solution, and general corrosion-resistant parts and structures.
