Incoloy 800 Pipes (Alloy 800), Incoloy 800H Pipes (Alloy 800H) and Incoloy 800HT Pipes (Alloy 800HT) are nickel-iron-chromium alloys by means of having excellent strength and good resistance to oxidation, along with having carburization in soaring-temperature exposure. However, Incoloy 825 Pipes (Alloy 825) is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy by means of having additions of copper and molybdenum. Also referred as UNS N08800, UNS N08810, UNS N08811 and UNS N08825, these pipes and tubes respectively can further be customized in terms of sizes and thicknesses. There are several types of chemical compositions available in the Incoloy 800 / 800H / 800HT Compression Tube Fittings as most of the components are somehow the same and even the quantities are also the same. However, the tensile strength of these 800/800H and 800HT is also the same which is Psi – 75,000; MPa -520, and the yield strength are Psi – 30,000, MPa – 205. Titanium, carbon, and aluminum content is the reason behind this strength.  These nickel steel alloys are identical except for the higher level of carbon in Incoloy 800H Welded Tubes, and the addition of up to 1.20 percent aluminum and titanium in Incoloy 800HT EFW Tubes. The higher creep-rupture strength of these Incoloy 800 Round Tubes is the result of aluminum, carbon, and titanium contents. Incoloy 800H Square Tubes is particularly useful for high-temperature equipment in the petrochemical industry because the alloy doesn’t form the embrittling sigma phase after long time exposure at 1200 Degree F (649 Degree C). The most used shape is the Incoloy Alloy 800 Round Pipe whereas the other shapes are used as well. Depending on the application requirement, there could be other shapes such as the 800H Incoloy Square Pipe. Square pipes are usually used for applications that require structural strength. The Incoloy Alloy 800HT Clad Pipe is used for cladding of other material pipes. Since the material can withstand high temperatures, it could be used to prevent exposure of other softer material to heat.
